Brigit's Bounty
Formerly known as the Community Garden of Frederick, Colorado.
We now have our own web site at www.brigitsbounty.org

One of the many blessings we have is the ability to to use 7+ acres of land in Frederick that was purchased by the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado. It will be at least several years until we're able to build on this acreage, so what to do with it now, and can this use continue as we grow? What blessings can be shared with the use of this land?

A community garden was one of the answers that we came up with. This idea was put on the "fast track" when one of our parishioners wrote and was awarded a substantial grant in 2009 from the good people at Hidden Valley Ranch and their "I Love Your Veggies" project.

In 2010, a LOT of online voting yielded a $25,000 grant from Pepsi's "Refresh Everything" contest. THANK YOU to the many people who voted for this project!

There is much more information available about this project. There have been several articles published about our efforts.
